ABOUT
Hello!
Welcome to my little space on the internet, and thanks for stopping by.
I’m Jodi. I’m a quilter, pattern, fabric, and notions designer who’s been married to my husband Raphael for almost 38 years. We have 3 sons, 2 daughters-in-law, and 3 grandchildren.
I live in the Pacific Northwest, and I’m amazed by it’s beauty almost every day. When I’m not quilting or designing, you can find me outside, especially in the summer! I love some sunshine. I also love to play in my yard, go for walks, kayak, travel with my husband towing our travel trailer, and spend time with my family. I love to try new recipes, listen to podcasts and books, color in my Happy Color coloring app, and relax on our back patio. I love all things vintage, and I love to wander antique stores and flea markets.
I am undoubtedly an introvert and love one-on-one conversations. I can pretty much talk your ear off if you let me. I’m curious by nature and love to hear others stories. I’m a genealogy nut and the self-proclaimed family historian of our family. I’ve spent many hours digging in archives, libraries, cemeteries, and online records looking for my ancestors and putting together their life stories. I’ve helped dozens of people find their biological family with the help of Ancestry DNA, and I am constantly blown away by the amazing stories I get a glimpse of.
I love to create and have immersed myself in many types of crafts, including tole painting, embroidery, cross stitch, crochet, macramé, scrapbooking, and more. But the one constant has been sewing and quilting. As I begin blogging again and dedicate more time to my business, I am thoroughly looking forward to this next phase of my creative journey and sharing it with you!
